What steps are being taken to clean rental cars?
Each rental vehicle at Enterprise is thoroughly cleaned between every rental and backed with our Complete Clean Pledge. This includes washing, vacuuming, general wipe down, and sanitising with a disinfectant that meets leading health authority requirements, with particular attention to more than 20-plus high-touch points. We also extend the Complete Clean Pledge to our shuttles (for airport locations) and neighborhood branches.
What is the current car rental process?
To help protect both customers and employees, we have modified our car rental process. This includes the addition of kerbside rentals at our locations to help promote social distancing by getting you quickly on your way while avoiding foot traffic in our locations.
Delivery is also offered at select car rental locations throughout the country. Please contact your rental branch for availability.
Whether you are picking your vehicle up kerbside, or if we deliver it to you, we’re committed to maintaining proper distance throughout the process.

Renting a Car at Bolton
Local Car and Van Hire in Bolton.
Bolton is a large former mill town in Greater Manchester and its location in North West England makes it a perfect base for touring. The rugged West Pennine Moors, southeast of Rivington Pike, are only a short drive away. A longer drive of just over 40 miles takes you to the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, favoured by walkers and cyclists alike. This is where the famous Pendle Witches came from. In 1612, they were taken for trial at Lancaster, 42 miles north of Bolton, a historic city with a castle and home to Lancaster University. Kendal, gateway to the Lake District, is 63 miles away and the coastal resorts of Blackpool and Morecombe are only an hour’s drive away. Bolton grew during the Industrial Revolution, reaching its peak in Victorian times, and many of the civic buildings are an expression of civic pride from that era. The town has two museums, Bolton Museum and The Bolton Steam Museum. Entertainment can be found at the Octagon Theatre and Bolton’s famous Albert Halls, part of the town hall complex and popularised by the comedian, Peter Kay. The local football team, Bolton Wanderers, play at the Macron Stadium. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is situated on the Pilot Industrial Estate, just over a mile outside the town, on Manchester Road. The industrial estate is on a major bus route, with regular services running from Bolton Interchange. Manchester Road is a busy thoroughfare, so take this into account when planning to collect your hire vehicle, particularly during peak times.
